Okay I’ve literally had a textbook yeast infection for over 2 months now but the doctors haven’t been able to treat it. I’ve had severe itching, redness, and white chunky discharge (like below). Every time I get a wet mount I’m negative for yeast and everything else!! I’m also negative for all STDS. The only thing I can think of is I’ve been taking diflucan in between the wet mounts so maybe the diflucan masks the yeast so they can’t detect it??? I want to try itraconazole because diflucan isn’t working for me and I feel like it’s most definitely a yeast infection if nothing else. I know discharge varies, but I’ve had this same chunky white discharge for MONTHS along with the persistent itching and irrational. Help please...
