Are spin bikes worth it?

Does anyone have a spin bike? Is it worth it? Did it really help with losing weight? I really want to get one, the peloton is way too expensive tho so I’d like to find one that is more affordable.  Any suggestions?

It’s worth it if you’re spin obsessed. If you’re not yet obsessed or are on the fence it’s not worth it.

You can't out spin a bad diet.  Weight loss is 90% what you put in your mouth.  Exercise equipment aids in weight loss but won't be the sole reason you lose weight.

I got a pretty good elliptical for like $150 off Amazon, it’s pretty good even though it’s not a super fancy one.
