Stole pillows from Walmart....wwyd?
Ok so I technically didn’t steal them but I feel like I did
I did curbside pickup from Walmart these cheap throw pillow, perfect for my couch and not a lot of money when I have little kids in my house, $12 each, after tax 55ish in total
I did curbside pick up, however when I checked out online, I accidentally clicked in store pickup, which is why I think everything is messed up. When I called the store the guy told me I had an in store pickup not curbside, so I told him ok I have my 2 kids in my car, and I didn’t have my double stroller with me so I couldn’t run in, and I’ll come back later. He said ok, since I had my kids he’ll run them out. Super nice guy.
So I get an email last night saying since I didn’t pick up the pillows, they were refunding me. I called them 8 times to tell them I did, and the phone rings and rings and rings. After 4 minutes, it just hangs up. I figured ok Friday night probably busy, I’ll try again tomorrow
Same thing today. I don’t understand, I press 2 to speak to the pick up dept, no one answers, I click 0 to speak to representative, no one answers.
I really believe in karma, and I’m at a time in my life where I can really use all the good karma I can get. I look at the pillows and now I feel guilty.
I’m not really sure.... do I keep trying? Do I say fuck it, I’m meant to have free pillows? Walmart isn’t a place I shop, so it’s not like I go there ever. But should I just say screw it and go there in person? What would you do?
