Spit ups

My 6 week old is spitting up ALOT like after ever feeding. When I spoke to my doctor about it he said it’s because she’s eating to much. Well I’m exclusively breast feeding and I don’t know how much she’s eating but I feed her when she’s hungry. She doesn’t seem sick or fussy or anything I just wanna know has anyone else gone through this? I’ve been burping her a lot more but sometime she just doesn’t burp. But she spits up a lot of milk after eating.
