Hcg levels?? Neee some answers.

My doctors had me do a repeat hcg blood test Friday than today. 2 weeks ago my levels were at 254 Friday’s levels were 20,356 & today’s levels were at 36,000. I have an ultrasound Thursday to see if the baby is growing. They said I could possibly have a blighted ovum. But my pregnancy symptoms keep hightening, my levels have increased. They said that my levels should’ve doubled from 20,356 2 days later which is only 36,000. I’m a little confused and now worried. Anyone have a similar issue and went for a follow up ultrasound and seen their baby in the ultrasound with high levels like that?

I think your levels sound really great - once it gets past 6000-7000 it takes a little longer to double and it nearly did double.

As long as your hcg levels are increasing its all that matters. They don't need to double just be on the increase. 
I had a miscarriage/ectopic pregnancy scare just last week and i had multiple blood tests over 2 days and went from 82.4k to 120k. As long as it's still on the up is ok. 
Mentally it's draining af and emotionally too but get some relief its still going up

I’m in a similar situation but earlier than you I think. My numbers didn’t double but are increasing I have more blood work to check HCG hopefully tomorrow. The ultrasound couldn’t see anything as I was too early. Praying and hoping for the best for both of us.

They were pretty close to doubling I wouldn’t worry like she said once there higher it takes longer to double sometimes over 4 days. Most doctors stop going by levels and just go by the ultrasounds.
