negative test 5 days before period

So I track period with 2 apps. Especially since I had a MC in Dec. Period and ovulation are both on diff days in each app. The one seemed to be closer to my schedule than the other. Ovulation still seemed off on both. I tried to listen to my body. But I am 5 days before my period is "due" with the one I felt was closer ( 3 days off from other) . Took a first response this am said negative. Has anyone had a negative test 5 days out & turn positive? I really thought this was it. 13 days since we had sex.
