Will he come around?

Is it true that men become a father when they hold their child? The father of my child/ fiancé has really been hurting my feelings. It's like he can't be with me for a whole day he has to go play the game at the guys house. And he says "we have each other for the rest of our lives" like how selfish is that. I cry almost every day because I feel neglected. He's still acting like a kid and we have a baby on the way. He doesn't know how much he is hurting me and making me resent him.
