First movement... flips?!

I will be 14 weeks tomorrow & swear I just felt baby for the first time. But with my first I felt a distinct kick at 18 weeks. This was more like he was doing flips & rolling around. Anyone else? Also at our 12 week ultrasound the tech said he was very “chill” which was exciting because our first boy is very high maintenance. Now I’m wondering why my chill baby is doing flips 🙃😂

I feel like I started feeling movement at 14 weeks and it felt like my little girl was rolling around/flipping. They are the size of apples and I feel like if they are moving around enough we should definitely be able to feel it. Lol

It depends on where the placenta is attached to. Today at my 12-week scan the ultrasound technician told me that My placenta was attached to the back of my uterus which meant I would start to feel movement a lot sooner than other women. So somewhere between 13 and 14 weeks I would start to feel movement. That could be why you feel it earlier this time than your other baby! 😊
