When would you start the nursery for a June baby?

Im due in July and I’m waiting until spring (May) to start as we need to paint the room and I feel like it’ll be easier in the spring to air out the house from the fumes.

We were due in June and planned to work on it in March. Then I ended up in the hospital and our worlds became chaos, so we didn’t get to it until late April / early May. Baby arrived May 23.

Depends on what all you need to do! I wish we would have done ours sooner, that way as we noticed things we forgot to do it wouldn’t be such a stressor. I’d also suggest being set up by 36 weeks - gives you the rest of the time to relax until your baby comes, and if they come early you’re prepared and done have to stress! I’m due in March and we started mid January - definitely wish we started sooner, so we could have that weight off our shoulders. Exhaustion also hit hard in the third trimester for me, so it’s made it harder for me to find the energy to finish setting things up on top of work and normal life. So if you can, the earlier the better!
