Mirena question

I had mirena inserted at my 6 week appointment after having my son in January of 2020. I haven’t had a single period since then and randomly on Sunday night I had very intense cramping which honestly felt like contractions for about an hour. I took a midol and went back to sleep and haven’t had any problems since... until today. Today I was blessed with heavy dark clotty bleeding.

Has this happened to anyone else? I left a message with my GYN to call me back, just wondering what every one else’s experiences were.
