So I recently gave birth 2 weeks ago to my baby girl and my bfs sis today brought up if I mind her getting a bracelet that’s called mal de ojo to put on my daughter and I’ve heard of it but don’t really believe in those things I explained that to her and she looked at me like I was crazy she ended up saying she’ll still buy it .... wtf

Just set it somewhere in her room, you don’t need to have your daughter wearing it

I would take it but put it in the babies room or somewhere safe for when the baby is older . I personally  wouldn’t but a bracelet on a baby . Don’t throw it away . Just tell her you don’t feel comfortable having the baby wear it but you will put it somewhere special.

I would dispose of it immediately. A baby does not need a bracelet for protection, it's a serious choking hazard. Not safe at all.
