Adopting a second cat?

I adopted a kitten in November and I’ve been thinking about adopting another one so he can have a friend to play with and keep him company especially when I’m not home. How was your experience adopting a second cat and do you have any tips or advice?

If they are close in age I absolutely recommend it. It will make things so much easier. Our two boy cats are about a year apart and they keep each entertained

its honestly was the best thing I've ever done for my cat! 
my first kitty was super lonely when we would leave to work.  adopting a second kitty was the absolute best for her, although introducing them at first was a little rough. I ended up adopting on a 4 day weekend I had off which was perfect time to get them used to eachother cause if I had to work the next day I probably would have called off cause my first kitty kept wanting to fight him lol. they absolutely adore eachother now and keep eachother company while we are gone🥰
