To get 2nd c-section or not? Advice please

Paola

Hello ladies. I am currently pregnant with my 2nd baby due late June 2021..

my first baby was born February 2020. had placenta previa and last minute they said it had resolved so I ended being induced weeks later and they used the foley balloon method to induce but with that the doctors discovered my placenta had not been resolved and I started passing the placenta causing my baby to lose heartbeat so this was a very very traumatic emergency c-section. Thank God my son made it and is 100% healthy. Now with this pregnancy everything is going great and my doctor is giving me the choice to try for vbac or a c-section. I’m literally having so much anxiety and I feel like I’m going crazy trying to make a decision. I want to try for vbac but Im terrified about anything going wrong and I just don’t want to go through another traumatic birth followed by depression like with my son.

I know that if I choose a c-section things can still go wrong but I feel like there’s less of a chance of something possibly being wrong. Also if I do try vbac it would be great satisfaction to me proving that I did it! Idk I’m confused. I hope it makes sense.

Any advice or thoughts are welcome.
