Chemical pregnancy question

Back in September my husband and I decided to ttc out 3rd child. We conceived sometime in October. Before I even knew I was pregnant.. I was already in the process of an early miscarriage. After getting positive tests I called the doctors office and set up an appointment. I told them what I had been experiencing and they said spotting and cramping could be normal in early pregnancy but this was NOT like my other pregnancies. I tested everyday until the tests were eventually negative and ended up getting my next period right on time. I called the nurse and she had told me that I was obviously not pregnant anymore since I got my period and they didn’t need to see me unless I had any further complications. That was back in late October/early November..I have not been able to get pregnant since. 😔 I’m worried something could be wrong. Though I have been having regular periods..Don’t know if I should go get checked out or just continue to try. I don’t want to go in just for them to tell me I have to try for a year before they will check anything. It seemed so easy getting pregnant with my first 2 and now this..just doesn’t seem right.
