Too good to be true?

Question

I'l sooo scared anything will happen to our baby, like SIDS or something..
Mainly because he's the most amazing best baby ever and I keep feeling like he's just too good to be true.
He eats well, he sleeps well.
When he's not sleeping he's almost always happy.
Like today he patiently waited in his bed until I naturally woke up. What baby does that?!

I know sids is scary but as long as you’re following safe sleep (baby’s alone (nothing in sleep space except baby and a paci/sleep sack) you put them on their back (however they roll after that is fine) and they are sleeping in an approved sleep space (crib/pack n play) the risk of sids is very very low.

I guess it’s like anything else in life , sometimes it’s hard to accept when something is going well especially if we are used to feeling disappointment. I know a lot of people feel like that in relationships too. I’m happy for you and your babe though. From what I’ve heard some babies are just like that and others aren’t! Mine is not lol

I wonder if our LO is too good to be true too. He’s not an angel baby. He’s actually really bossy and demanding but he’s super smart and adorable. I literally have to pinch myself sometimes. 😭

I understand your fear but you are definitely over reacting..... plenty of babies wait on their mom or someone to wake up without the baby making noise etc. both of my babies did that when they were babies
