What method do you use? Would you recommend it to your best girlfriend? Do you experience any side effects?

I have an IUD and my period comes every other month, it’s lighter but it lasts longer.

It really depends on the Birth Control used... and how diligent she would be at taking the pills. I was using the Nova Ring - because I’m not diligent at taking one pill at the same time every day. The Nova Ring - you insert & take it out at the end of 3-4 weeks, depending on if you want a period or not. {Example: you’re going on vacation & don’t want your period - you’d keep it in the full time & then switch it around} 
As for side effects: again it depends on the Birth Control. With the Nova Ring I noticed headaches & a little weight gain.
