Trying to stay hopeful

My boyfriend and I just started TTC this month. My last period started January 29th and I had my IUD taken out on February 1st. According to the ovulation tests I was doing I should have ovulated February 7-8. We had sex like bunnies during those few days. All this week I’ve had mild cramping and some spotting plus other normal PMS symptoms but I was hoping they could be from implantation. I took a pregnancy test this morning and it was negative 😫. I don’t know if I tested too early or if my period is going to start in the next few days. Anyone else go crazy like this?
