Only 5 weeks pregnant??

I’m over a week late on my missed period but I had a ultrasound done today and doctor said I’m only 5 weeks pregnant?? How does that work? Wouldn’t I be further in the pregnancy if my period was a little over a week late? Anyone else experience this?

No you wouldn’t be further alone. At your missed period you would be 4weeks, a week later you would be 5. The doctor is correct.

How long is your cycle? That sounds about right. I will be 5w2d when I am a week late for my period (I have a 30-31 day cycle). Most people a week late would be 5 weeks if the average cycle is 28-30 days.
