We’re not finding out this baby’s gender until birth. Even with my sons when we did find out they are soooo insistent that baby is one or the other and they refuse to even think there’s a chance it will be the opposite. They swear this baby is a girl and keep trying to buy girl things because they just “know” and it’s actually now driving me insane. I don’t care either way what I’m having and I feel like the disappointment in my family will be really hard to deal with if my baby is a boy. I even sent them an ultrasound picture and they’re like “oh no pee pee in that picture it’s a girl for sure!” When the baby had their legs closed and a foot in the way of that area 🙄🙄 I’m happy they’re excited and everything but it’s frustrating to me that if I have another son they’ll all be upset about it. When I had my second son everyone immediately said oh guess you’ll have to try again for a girl, like it was rolling dice or something and we could just make it happen if we keep trying. No celebrating my healthy boy. Anyone else’s family do this??
