Whopping Cough

Please help. I was dead set on NO vaccines. Then two of my friends told me to consider the whopping cough vaccine. One told me to look at a video of kids suffering with it. I am so torn. I got a few books and I'm researching. When I read what happened to the babies in this book it terrified me. A few died of "SIDS" shortly after and one has brain damage now for life. I also looked at all the charts and see that the death rate was DECREASING on its own BEFORE the vaccine was introduced. Any info will be greatly appreciated.
