My mother’s health took a turn for the worst within the last couple of months. As a result, she had a major surgery & is now in recovery. I overheard my husband telling his friend that’s he’s “surprised” she pulled through because she was in “terrible” shape when we took her to the hospital. His friend must’ve gave his sympathies & my husband goes, “Well it’s apart of life, I don’t feel bad for her (me)”
