Do solids replace a bottle of feeding?

Or do I keep giving the same amount of formula? My 6 month old won’t eat more than 28oz ever since we started solids 😿 she’s finally sleeping through the night when before she would wake up to eat. She barely finishes 4 oz some days. I wonder if she gets full from her solids

Food before one should just be for fun and learning! 
Also feed a bottle before solids. Offer solids between immediately to about 30 min after the bottle  (I always did almost immediately). 
You want to keep formula the main source of nutrition till 1 year. After 1 year tables foods can take over and you can wean off bottles.

Formula should be main source of nutrition when under 1 but our pediatrician told us 24 oz minimum, so you’re still hitting that mark. I’d maybe ask dr if it’s ok amount they’re getting but I think it’s ok.

Solids are like a dessert to breastmilk or formula. At 6 months he/she should only be getting 3-5 bites of food once a day! Only offer solids within 30 minutes of a full nursing session or bottle.

No. Breastmilk or formula is the main source of nutrition until 12 months. Breastmilk or formula is much more nutritious and calorie dense than solids.
