I live on the 3rd floor of my apt building, I live alone and work full time from home. Due to covid no one comes to my apt, plus it’s so small I just go to other ppl houses instead…I’ve always lived in apt buildings but this is a first

I got an email from my management office on Friday for a noise complaint. I called immediately cause I am literally the quietest person in this building which holds 12 apts…told them that’s a lie and there’s no noise coming from this unit. So Saturday I’m chillin having some wine watching Good Girls and the person under me is constantly banging on the ceiling. I’ve been here for over a yr and half never had anything like this. Idk who this neighbor is but they have to be a new tenant. I’m so annoyed so now I’ve been slamming doors and cabinets to give her/him something to bitch about. And gosh they hate it when I run my dishwasher so I’m doing that a little more frequently now as well

I know it’s petty but idc…I try to always do what’s right and be considerate of those around me. My floor has kids in every apt but mines and I hear them all day and night, running crying jumping screaming etc…it’s annoying but I don’t complain because 1. I live in an apt building and 2. They’re kids, so it is what it is…even when I allow kids to come over I’m always telling them no running or jumping because I have neighbors so they sit quietly on their iPads and play or scroll TIKTOK

Sorry for the rant I’m just tired of always being the sensible one. My lease is up in August but I’m putting my 60 days in on the 1st due to a new job location and I cannot effn wait!
