Maternity Leave?

Just curious on what other moms are choosing to do. Feel free to comment about your situation (if comfortable)!💖

I’m going on maternity leave next week at 35 weeks. 
We move house next weekend so I am not prepared in the slightest for baby and wanted the time to get organised before he arrives.
I’m at risk of preeclampsia so I was worried he is gonna come early and I won’t be ready.
Also I have heaps of annual leave since I havnt been able to go on a holiday since covid. And in Australia your not allowed to work past 36 weeks without a doctors clearance anyway. And My workplace has to hold my position for a year while on maternity leave. I get 18 weeks paid once baby is here 🙂

I was going to work until about 36 weeks, but after a major COVID outbreak at my workplace I went on stress leave(short term disability) and will started my maternity leave when the baby is born.

SAHM here with a full time job as well. I’ve been working from home for about 5 years now for a local medical office. My son is 2 and I’m with him all day, until dad gets off work at 4 and takes over. Luckily we both work from home. I work evenings and weekends and sometimes during nap time. It’s definitely rough, and I have no clue how it’s going to work with two kids so I’m nervous. 
I don’t need to work, but I enjoy it so I’m going to keep going as long as possible. I also have the possibility of staying in my current position when we move across the country, so keeping my job is ideal. 
If I was in an office, I’d probably work until labor anyways because I have a “desk job”

I stopped already my job is a warehouse job and not accommodating at all won’t even take a dr note. I can’t stand and push 200 pound carts all day anymore. I’m 34 weeks and I’m done working.

Worked until labor basically with my first. This time around I went off at 32 weeks. I’m a teacher, distance learning is incredibly hard with a 3.5 year old at home with me.

I'm currently a SAHM but with my first I planned to work up until I went into labor. I ended up needing to be induced a little early so I worked up until that day.

With my first, I was a hair stylist and managed a salon. I planned on working until 38 weeks but made it to 37 before needed to step back. Went into labor on her due date!

I worked until I went into labor with my first. I knew I’d be sitting around getting anxiety so working kept my mind busy. I did work at a desk so I was not on my feet all day. I wanted the extra time off with my baby.

Originally I thought I’d work the entire time til delivery 🤷🏽‍♀️ . However at my most recent appointment the OB recommended quarantining at 37 weeks and provided me documentation for my work place as a Covid precaution

Originally was planning on going on mat leave 4 weeks before due date but due to covid I went on maternity leave as soon as I could
