Anyone else's kid get swollen hair follicles??

Question

My girl has had a few but they are usually half this size. She woke up with this big one on her head 😱 Pediatrician said it's fine as long as they don't occur all the time or get infected. 
I keep aquaphor on them.
I'm just curious if anyone else's kid gets them too?

I have psoriasis on my scalp that comes out if I don't use the correct shampoo for my scalp type. When I'd get bad psoriasis break outs they would look like that and swell into painful cysts. I use redken scalp relief and redken balance for shampoos and they help a lot. I also found it was much worse on my scalp if u used drug store brands for shampoo and conditioner. Hopefully everything gets better for her scalp soon!
