Help! Blighted ovum?

Question

I had a scan Sunday and sac was measuring 16mm - empty not even a yolk sac.
Monday i had a scan and the sac was 17mm.
Bloods taken and HCG is in the 18000s.
I should be 10 weeks but measuring 6.
Is this s blighted ovum? I'm just confused due to high HCG

Sadly, yes. I was 8 weeks when my sac was measuring 6. Nothing was inside and I made the decision to have a D&C. That was my very first pregnancy, so I was in shock. Thankfully they say once you’ve had one, it’s rare for it to reoccur.
My blighted ovum was 4 years ago. And I have never had another one.

Unfortunately it sounds like it. If your dates are correct and your HCG levels are high enough you should see a yolk sac and fetal pole by now. So sorry you’re going through this.
