Why do I only drink water out of a cup with a straw?!

Please tell me I’m not alone lol , I bought this glass cup with a. Straw on amazon and a brita and now I drink like 8 cups of water a day. When we had water bottles I could barely make myself drink a bottle or two. Idk why?!

I totally get it. It's a sensory thing. You're initiating the motion with your mouth and regulating the exact quantity vs it being poured into your mouth with a bottle or glass which is a less pleasant sensation. A lot of kids are like this, and people with sensory sensitivity, and when you're pregnant you can definitely be more sensitive to little things like this!
