Membrane Sweep?

So I got checked today and I am 1cm dilated (which is truly a miracle). When she was checking me though, it hurt like hell! I've never had that with a check before. She just said I might have some spotting. Now I just ache down there and I'm getting some mild contractions. Do you think she did a sweep? I'm 38.4, baby 2.

No that just happens when they check you the same thing happened to me, and it’s illegal
For them to do a sweep without telling you and it would also have been more obvious

I was checked yesterday and also am only dilated a cm.🥺 I did have cramping later last night, I think that is just normal because they are irritating it. I haven’t had an contractions/cramping today.

She more than likely did not, without your consent or telling you that is very unprofessional. 
Just call or email them and ask if you would like to be sure!

I had I’m the same yesterday at 35 weeks and it was veeery uncomfortable and some spotting later in the evening. 
I don’t think mine did any sweeps, so I don’t think with you it was either. Your doc should tell you about procedures.

I feel like my doctor did one one me without telling me I went in early in the morning to see him he told me I was only 1cm then later that night my water broke
