I want to hear your feel good stories about how you conceived and when you got your BFP! Heres mine!

My fiance and I tried for 2 years to get pregnant and gave up. He is in his late 30s with two teenage daughters and I am in my mid 30s with two teenage daughters. All kids from previous marriages. We had none together. All 4 are girls. We decided after 2 years to not pursue help with fetility and just enjoy the rest of our years. In September of 2020, two months before out 4th anniversary we split up because he wasn't meeting my needs on some aspects sexually and financially. I had a brief fling with an old ex in the end of September. Well my honey and I got back together early October. Fast forward to December, a few weeks before Christmas. I get off work early one night and I am so damn happy for no apparent reason other than that. Lol. I come home. Sit on the couch with him and my two daughters and we start watching a marvel movie . I heat up my dinner I had taken to work with me...some homemade baked mac n cheese. Take two bites and immediately run to the downstairs bathroom and puke once. He makes a joke about how I might be pregnant. I laugh it off.

A few days later he asks me to take a pregnancy test. He actually went and bought it. Its a cheapie walmart test. I joke about it and say there's no way I'm pregnant but tell im I'll take it first thing in the morning. Old habits of using FMU die hard. Well that next morning I woke up for some reason at 5am and somehow remembered the test. I took it and almost died with shock. It was a perfect dye stealer BFP! I woke him up immediately and showed him! He was happy and said he had a feeling because I had been strangely happy for a couple of weeks and when I barfed up mac n cheese he jsut kinda knew.

Im currently 16w and 5 days with our first and only son and we are over the moon excited for him!

SN: no its not the other guys. I had two periods oct 2nd thru the 6th and again around same time in November after the fling with the ex. This baby was conceived mid Nov.
