Please advice

So this is kind of weird and I think I know my gut is telling me it could be fucked up, i just need some reassurance or I could be thinking too much, not sure that’s why I need to find out if it’s okay for a man to watch how to catch a pedo when he’s been accused of doing things to a minor family member?
