Worsening endo pain after surgery
I was diagnosed with Stage II-III endometriosis with a 2 inch endometrioma on my right ovary. I had surgery to ablate the endometriosis and remove the cyst on January 5, 2021, and now i feel like the pain is back with a vengeance. The doctors and nurses said I might skip the next couple periods and when they returned it should be much lighter with zero-mild cramps as opposed to the normal excruciating pain. I didn’t think it was possible, but my last period was even worse than normal and lasted a whopping 12 days of full bleeding and on-off cramps. This month I’m about 7 days away from getting my period, and my left ovary hurts HORRIBLY to the point where I don’t even want to go to the bathroom or exercise because the pain is killing me.
Has anyone else experienced a similar situation? I’m almost seriously regretting doing the surgery because I feel like it made everything so much worse than before.
