Contractions or what?

So I have two lumps above my stomach and I’ve figured that’s the babies bum and legs or knees. Dr said baby was head down so I’m assuming her position by the two lumps I feel, anyways my stomach just got like rock solid. Everything was hard expect a small bit of extra fat on my lower belly but if I pressed slightly it felt very hard there aswell. Was this a contraction? I have been having back pain and aching as if my period was going to start. Also I’m 39 weeks +2 days. I am a ftm and never experienced contractions or Braxton Hicks or anything honestly
