Stopping aspirin at 38 weeks
I have been taking 150mg of aspirin per day since 12 weeks as instructed by my midwife as I have several risk factors for preeclampsia (I’m a ftm). My midwife has told me to stop taking it once I get to 38 weeks. I am currently 36+6.
Is it possible I will develop preeclampsia when I stop taking it or will all the months of taking it cover me for the last few weeks of pregnancy?
