Do i have to get rid of my cat 😭 his litter box is in my laundry room...can I even go in there to do laundry??

Yes you’re fine to go in there you just can’t change the liter if you’re alone and must wear a mask and gloves and wash up afterwards. I’ve had my cat longer then either of my kids of been alive lol my husband just changes the box when I’m pregnant and I keep it in my walk in closet. Which I have to go into for clothes.

Lol no please don’t get rid of your cat! The risk of toxoplasmosis from cats is very low from your pet at home, especially if the cat doesn’t go outside (they can get it from eating mice). I scooped & changed my cat box wearing a mask & gloves for 3 pregnancies and I plan to do it again. 
Just make sure to keep the box clean daily, old dried out cat poop is more likely to infect (if the cat has the parasite, I mean).
