Still very positive HPT 3 weeks after miscarriage

Hi ladies,

I had a miscarriage with twins about 3 weeks ago. At that point, I was about 8 weeks along but babies only measured 6 weeks. I had a medical miscarriage and one week after the miscarriage, my doctor said that it looked like I bled out “effectively”. She said we didn’t need to measure my hcg. Not it’s 3 weeks later and my hpt’s are still super positive. I just want to be pregnant again and I know that my hcg has to go down before i get my cycle back. Has anyone tried this before and how long did it take to get a negative test?
