My I was in L&D today for consistent contractions but I wasn’t dilated enough for them to admit me so I’ve been sent home to labor here. However, my midwife told me it could he a few hours or another week. My husband is super conflicted on what to do about work. He works pretty far away and commutes. He has only been with this company like 6 or so months so won’t likely qualify for parental leave. He is worried about leaving me here and going to work bc we are not near any family either so he’s my transportation. He has 3 sick days he can use but he’s worried if he takes these next 3 days and it doesn’t happen he will be pretty much screwed. He is also on the verge of accepting another job so he doesn’t want to take time off and then quit. Any advice?
