is this normal?

so i went to my doctors to see if i had any issues trying to get pregnant and so far so good only thing was irregular periods. she put me on a 3 month birth control and told me log my periods for the 3 months before birth control my last period was 4 months ago i’m not barley starting my second month of birth control. i got my period 3 weeks ago then 2 weeks later i got it again lasted abt 7 days both time except now i’m just spotting very very lightly. and i just don’t know if it’s because my period is trying to regulate or is something wrong? i cannot go see my gyno again until my last month of birth control is up.
