How Long?

I’m super curious about this.. How long do you guys wait to reply to a message? Like, how long should I wait until I reply back to a guy? I don’t wanna come across as desperate 🙈

I dont like to play games with people any more that I am tolerant of games being played with me.
I respond when I see the message. When I've encountered people who try to "stagger" their response time in a predictable way, I've always cut them off after confronting them as unreliable.
Games are silly and make things more complicated than need be.

I don’t play games so I respond when I see the message, sometimes that’s right away sometimes it’s a few hours cuz I was busy doing something else.

I replied whenever I was free when I was dating my husband. There is no timeline to text back unless you’re intentionally blowing him off. Which obviously is shitty.

I would give it a few hours, just go about your day and he will respond. If it’s a day or two then he possibly isn’t interested. People don’t text all the time or check in as most have responsibilities like school or jobs. To me I don’t text my bf until maybe 6pm-10pm because he works and I go do college classes. There are some people who seem like they are always on their phone and expect constant check ins or texts which is actually, pretty much depends on the person you’re seeing, but for me I told my bf straight up to not start drama because I don’t use my phone a lot so I sometimes forget to read a msg unless I get another one which he understood
