How do y’all grocery shop?

Hey y’all I still live with my parents but buy my own food since I’m the only vegetarian in the house. I work a lot so most of the time I eat out but this causes me to have to constantly take money out of my savings or not have anything until I get paid again. I also feel like I tend to waste money when I do grocery shop since I used to go every week. Would it be better to shop every 2 instead?

Make a menu and write down a list so you’re not blindly shopping or hungry shopping. You also know roughly what you’re going to be spending this way. 
Make dishes that use the same ingredients in different ways so you’re not getting bored but not buying individual ingredients for every meal which is more expensive and usually ends up being wasteful.

You need to plan out meals and snacks. Meal prep meals for work. Eating out is extremely expensive. Go on youtube and look at meal prep videos and vegetarian on budget videos! Most of your favorites u can mk at home. 
     Also create a budget of how much u want to spend on grocery and eating out.... then dnt exceed it. That way u stay on track with financial goals

We do a big shop once a month then little top ups weekly. Make a list and you won't waste money. Vegetables don't really last longer than a week anyway that you can only buy them once a month.

I shop every few days actually, mostly because we go thru milk, bread and eggs like crazy lol. Milk I definitely buy every 2-3 days when we're almost out, ive started buying eggs and bread from Costco so it lasts a bit longer. I only buy fresh fruits and veggies a couple times a week to help prevent food waste and we buy meat the day of, also to prevent waste. I hate buying too much and letting it go bad or freezer burnt because I changed my mind lol I find this way I waste less food so I'm not wasting as much money. I try not to buy too many snack/treats because that's what makes my shopping bill higher
