Hi Alicia! So incredible to see you in the third trimester group!!! 🥰 I got my TDAP for both pregnancies and so far no issues from the shot! It’s a very common shot that’s been given to pregnant women for years so I’m confident that it won’t cause any harm to you or your baby, but I totally understand the hesitancy! In the end I believe the benefit to your precious babies outweighs the risks. Hope this helps❤️

It’s best to get it done.. passes immunity on to the baby but dang that shot hurts! I wasn’t expecting the pain to linger so long and come on so quickly but felt like my arm was bruised within an hour and couldn’t sleep oj that side. Felt better the next day though ..

No question about it! I have also made sure my husband and parents/anyone that will be close to the baby gets it as well. Whooping cough can be very serious in babies, especially because the have such undeveloped immune systems. 
Getting it during pregnancy also ensures that you will pass some immunity on to baby :) plus, the vaccine has been well studied and is universally considered safe during pregnancy
