Have you already switched babe from infant car seat to the convertible car seat ?

We never drive him anywhere because of the pandemic! I don’t even remember the last time I had the baby in the car.

Not yet but once it gets warmer I am because he’s heavy 😂

Yes, but only because my son is now in daycare and my husband needed a car seat to pick him up on Friday’s as he gets out of work early. But my husband loves this new car seat and said we could have used it from day 1. But we didn’t know and we wanted one that fit in his stroller as I was staying home and went on walks through our neighborhood with him. So far my son really likes it as he’s able to see more and out the window easier, though it doesn’t have a shade so the sun is in his face more, even with tinted windows.

I’m planning on switching in the summer around his 1st birthday.  As long as he’s within the height and weight of the car seat it makes no difference to switch. I’ll just leave the car seat in the car when he’s too heavy to carry.

I’m going to talk to my pediatrician about that at his 9 month appt in April. The weight  for my infant seat says up to 30lbs and he’s still under that. So I would assume when he reaches the 30lb weight limit I have no choice hahahaa 🤷🏽‍♀️

I keep my babies in their rear facing infant seat as long as possible its safer my 2 yr old still fits in infant seat he is only 27 lbs and my carseat goes up to 35 lbs and 32 inch in height

I have a Chicco Keyfit and it goes up to 33lbs so I’ll probably change it when he’s one.

We have the chicco keyfit 2 which goes from newborn-2 years with the two stages. So he’ll be in that for awhile. Stage 2 starts at 9 month and 15 lb so he’s still in stage 1

My guy is a little 14 lbs still and plenty comfortable in the infant seat.
