Vanishing twin?

I need help. So today I went to a new ob and the ultrasound showed that there may have been a twin that never developed. It looks like a long string with a little bubble attached. Baby girl is okay but I'm just worried. Has anyone had this happen?

The baby should be fine. The sac may have started for a 2nd but likely there was never a baby in it. I had a 2nd sac which wasn’t discovered until I was in labor lol it had no affect on my pregnancy.

My pregnancy currently is a vanishing twin syndrome pregnancy. Your twin little girl shouldn't be effected. I'm so sorry for your loss.
