Boyfriend not responding

My boyfriend (17; I’m 16) is going to be visiting a friend today. He left at about 5. It is now 9:30. The drive should only take 1.5- 2 hours. He told me that he was going to text me when he got there, but I haven’t gotten a text from him yet. Because of that, I have texted him like 4 times, but only after 7 which he should have been there by.

Him and his friend both play a certain time consuming game and like to play video games. I know that’s what they were going to do all weekend. However, my boyfriend usually would check his phone at least once in like 3 hours and would have seen my texts. That’s why I’m worried. I know time flies but it’s been so long since I’ve heard from him.

My boyfriend drives kind of recklessly, but mostly just speeds. I’m honestly so worried about him right now. Like I don’t know what to do. I’m starting to think something happened to him.

What happens if he doesn’t respond by tomorrow morning? What should I do then? I don’t want to call him because what happens if it goes to voicemail? I’ll be even more worried. As you can probably tell, I struggle with anxiety and overthinking. I’m trying to tell myself that everything is going to be okay, but it isn’t really working because I don’t know that everything is
