Pain pills and pregnancy?

Question

For those that have had a pre-existing condition, will you continue to take pain medication? Have any of you taken them throughout pregnancy and had a healthy pregnancy/baby? What effects do they have on baby?

I take pain medication and 34 weeks prego and baby boy is good. They sent me to a high risk doctor who did in depth ultrasounds to make sure his heart was.

I've been taking norco for three years now for chronic pain. I'm 8 months pregnant and baby is very healthy.

I was on anxiety meds and headache meds my entire pregnancy and my baby boy is healthy as can be!

I stopped all of my pain meds before having my iui done. I have been using alternatives like T.E.N.S unit and hydrotherapy. I have some days where the pain gets pretty bad but I didn't feel comfortable with being on my meds whole pregnant. Talk with your Dr. since some medications are safer than others.

I was in a car accident two weeks ago and the Doctor gave me Norco. Always check with your OB before you take something.
