Christmas presents for baby?

I'm so on the fence about buying Baby Christmas presents, obviously she could possibly come early and I'd want her to have gifts. I'll be 37 weeks at Christmas, so there's a higher probability she won't be born before (my first born was born at 39 weeks). What are you guys (who celebrate Christmas) all doing?

I wouldn't worry about it a newborn does not need Christmas gifts just consider all the baby stuff you've already purchase enough. It's not like baby can open gifts anyways or will even know

The thought never even crossed my mind. This Christmas is my son's last as an only child. It will be all about him. Baby gets plenty of new stuff when he's born.

In my family on holidays babies always get gifts. I was 20 something weeks on Easter with my first and my mom and grandma made baby an Easter basket. So baby has a stocking with pacifiers, and socks and stuff we had to get anyways. For gifts I splurged on some clothes and toys that won't be hand me downs from her sister. I'm also trying to get my older used to the idea that the baby is just as important as she is.

We have no children in our family, so no presents for baby that I'll be buying but I'm sure my MIL will have 2356325 presents for this child

When I told my 5 year old daughter that the baby probably wouldn't be here at Christmas yet, she decided we could have a"late Christmas " for her when she's born. Lol. Just what I don't need. I explained that all of baby's things will be new for her, so she doesn't need Christmas presents.

I'll be 37 weeks at Christmas also and have a feeling baby could come around then (my second came at 34wks and this time I have a cerclage that will hopefully be removed before 36wks allowing my body to go into labor at any point after that.)

I'm due 1/28 but just bought a Christmas stocking for the baby just in case he comes before Christmas. Again, it's more for my 3 year old. If he does come early,  we'll wrap stuff we already bought him up. If he were the first born, I wouldn't have bothered.

Not getting gifts for baby but I know people will probably be getting things for us to help finish getting ready for her since she will be born s few weeks after. My husband did get her "Christmas present" only because he got the baby and out older daughter matching "daddy's little princess" princess Lea (star wars) t shirts and he is excited. Other than that buy what you need for baby and enjoy getting presents for their first Christmas next year!

I'm due jan.8th will our daughter. We have two boys and they want Santa to bring her something. So we are buying her first cabbage patch doll and wrapping it up. This way my boys can open it for her if she's not born early. They can practice with the doll! They are 3 and 5.
