Cramping while pregnant?

Is it normal to start cramping around 10 weeks pregnant? I woke up in the middle of the night to some cramps that were kind of concerning. It only lasted a couple seconds and I went back to sleep but I have had some light cramping on and off all day now in the same spot I did the whole week before I found out I’m pregnant. I’ve been taking it easy today hoping I feel better tomorrow
