So my bf is selling this puppy and I told him I really want that puppy I’ll pay him. He said no and then two days ago he said he sold it to a family friend that he is driving 5 hours to drop the puppy. I’m just mad because I told him I wanted to buy the puppy he said no. I just told him I’m going to look to buy a puppy and he said “ I’ll help you”  I told him no because he didn’t let me buy his puppy. I wanted that puppy 🥺 would you guys be mad? He said I would never guilt trip him. Btw he didn’t want to give me the puppy because it’s his friend and they already buy the stuff for it🙄

Why are people saying it’s gross to sell a puppy? Op didn’t say he was a breeder or something. What was he supposed to do with it? Throw it in the streets or put it in an already stuffed shelter? By charging a fee for an animal you’re weeding out the people who probably can’t afford vet care. And if you’re upset that he’s charging to begin with then get upset with shelters, too, because they charge you as well.

If the friends called dips first then I wouldn't be mad. But if it wasn't claimed at the time you said you wanted to buy it, I'd be furious! I'd be furious that my boyfriend would even make me pay for it lol. Unless it was like a top of line breed that came with papers.

Depends on a lot. If his friend asked first, then you shouldn't be mad. Sometimes males are bad communicaters and he might never mention such a detail.  Secondly is he is your boyfriend.  He has a right to sell his puppy to anyone he wants. If he were your husband,  it is a different story. Also consider that probably he didnt wsnt that puppy in particular.  And you buying it would mean he has to deal with it. And you are his gf so he cant sell you sth. At least if he is the type of man that believes in giving his gf things. But he wouldn't have a problem selling it to a friend. Probably he really wanted the money and  the only option of of having the puppy was him giving it to you but he cant selk stuff to you.
Also you have a right to go buy your puppy alone if that is what you want. 
The only problem is you revenging. That is not how a relationship can last. Your spouse will do so many worse things to you than sell a puppy to his friend and if for every bad thing he does, you decide to punish him or revenge, your relationship will sink in the valley of tit for tat and it will only be a battle of who can hurt the other worse. Relax, it is just a puppy. You will love the puppy you get yourself just as much or even more. It is ok to not always get what you love. The real maturity is in how you handle it. 
Ps. Him selling the puppy to his friend doesnt equal to him putting his friend first. Dont take such small things personally.
