Large baby!

During my pregnancy with my son I was told he’d be 6 pounds at the most. At my dating scan they set my due date at August 3rd. Then my 12 week scan they set my due date at July 29th. I was set with July 29th for the rest of my pregnancy but my son was measuring a week behind at every scan. I was 2 weeks behind at one point and was sent for like 3 ultrasounds, he was fine. 35 weeks hit and he was measuring 6 pounds and two weeks ahead. so they changed the estimate to 7 pounds. They wouldn’t induce me until I went a week over, my induction was dated August 4th. Well 3:30 am august 4th I went into labour. Long story short he was an emergency c section baby because he was too big to fit through my pelvis. He was 8 lbs 12 Oz. At his first month’s appointment he gained a pound, after that he excelled in weight and height, sitting at 99th percentile for height and 95th for weight. The doctors are very pleased with his growth but oh my god. I bought newborns and small clothes and he’s now 6 months, a few days from 7 months wearing 18 month clothes😳 my little boy looks like a toddler😅
