Name issue

So for a baby girl number two I really like the name Scarlet but the thing is is that my husband has a little cousin he’s like seven who lives across the country and her name is Scarlet but we’re not really close to her but with the name Scarlet I think it’s really cute to call her Scottie and he has another cousin his name is Scotty to who is like five and I’m wondering more so is it rude to name your kid the same name if it’s the opposite gender
