How would you feel ?

Me and my boyfriend have been togther for a year and half and im 6 months pregnant . He has an 8 year old daughter from a previous relationship . He has told me his daughter will always come first before anyone including our daughter together . It really upset me and didnt know what to say  . Anyone been through this and have advise ?

My boyfriend said the same thing about his 2 year old son from a previous relationship. It really hurt my feelings and I told him how f'ed up it was to say that knowing he has another one on the way and he said he was just kidding he's going to love them both the same. I know he wasn't joking because it's the second time he's made a remark like that but I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt and assuming it's because he doesn't know what it feels like to have two kids and it's going to take actually holding our baby to realize you can love them both as much. I hope your boyfriend comes around and realizes your guys' child is just as important as the one he has now.

He may just be being protective of his daughter, I'm sure when your child is born he will see you are all equally important. It takes men longer to feel that bond - often after birth

No I'm sorry but that's fucked up!! I wouldn't be tolerating that... He needs to realize your baby is his too! Wtf! They should both be equal to him' I don't know how you're even with somebody like that. That would be extremely hurtful.
